The last thing I expected to wake up to this morning was the possibility of pre-term labor. Nothing like some rather consistent contractions to wake you up to the reality of what is about to happen.
I am just finishing up my 36th week of pregnancy, and we need to hold on at least one more week before Weebix can come. Pretty please.
I will soon be posting something deep about the amazing powers of imminency...
Resting again... So far, so good.

Update (June 14): My midwife told me to take a warm bath and drink a glass of wine and see if the contractions would stop if I rested for the rest of the day. They finally subsided to about one per hour, instead of the 3-4 per hour I'd been getting.
Reprieved.
Also, I have decided that I don't like wine. It tastes like Robitussin. Blech.

Hmm, how's it goin'? I assume the contractions subsided. Hopefully you're still getting rest. ;)
So glad things have calmed down a little..
Unless you're supposed to only have red wine, maybe try a white zinfandel if you need to have some wine again. It's not nearly as offensive as the usual white or red. Woodbridge is a cheap California white zin that's really quite good :)
LOL--I think that's the one I tried! Maybe it wasn't as strong as Robitussin--Benadryl, anyone?
HA - nevermind O:-)
Kell... haven't seen an update lately, so I'm wondering... how're you and Pete and Weebix? Or is Weebix born and named? We're praying for you! :)

Codie: We're still here. Last week was just crazy, and I have writer's block! Thanks for the prayers and the note!
