Before and After

Thanks for all the encouraging comments about my hair!

I was just going to email these to Nic, but I got a couple other requests for more photos. These are the best shots I have to try and illustrate the difference. I got the cut b/c my hair has been falling out in clumps lately, and the straight long layers didn't do anything for me. The extra body on top in the first picture was made by flipping my hair over my part, but you can still see the thinning areas on the left. The extra body on top in the second photo is offered by the layers, and the bangs in front frame my face and camouflage the new growth over that thinning area on the left.

The new haircut is great! It brightens up everything, and especially sets off your eyes (which deserve it).

LOL! You really are a South Carolinian now... you look like a country music singer. ;)

It's pretty though, and it really does flatter your face. Besides, it was time for a change. :)

I can see the difference now. The fullness on top is great and the bangs are really cute and not too much! Thanks for the pictures!

Yeah, definite difference. Softens your face and gives your hair a fuller/thicker look. I think I know what you mean about hair falling out. When I cut back on nursing I lost a lot of hair everytime I washed or brushed it. Thankfully now that I've weaned Lauren I'm only losing the normal hair that happens in life, not gobs. LOL -- thankfully the hair all settles in and gets back to normall eventually. :)

Whoa, Angel - that was TOTALLY not what I was going for... I hate that look! I just wanted something with layers that would keep most of my length.

*rethinks cute short style I ruled out earlier*

Guess I should go digging for my cowgirl hat...

Sarah, I'm looking forward to that non-nursing thing, if only so I can seriously treat the Lyme that's throwing everything off. Piper's pediatrician called her a "pistol" who was going to have to make the decision to quit nursing on her own. Go figure.

I love it! It's beautiful, dramatic, stylish, and frames your face very nicely.
