Haiku: Sun on Snow

Friday, April 30, 2004

Like falling silver,
Jewels caught in the glory
Of brighter hope,

Dull gloom of winter
Transformed by the light
Of forbidden sun.

Unlikely this beauty
Dispelling the emptiness,
Renewing the land.

Ache of despairing heart
Released to wonder again
At impossible dreams.
