Alleluia...

Yesterday, I got hooked into a blog-thread that started the wheels in my head spinning--from the issue of the role of women to a reawakening passion for the church. It was a special evening--Pete and I got to just take a break and talk about it, and about our own upcoming marriage, and what God has been teaching us both.

Last night, however, I awoke at 1:00am, restless. I woke again at 3:00am, still restless. I couldn't go back to sleep. I was frustrated, so I asked God why I was awake. He reminded me to pray for someone that I hadn't prayed for since March. I was grumpy, so I dropped out a "God, please help him," and went back to sleep.

This morning, I woke unsettled, finished the book I'd been reading, showered, and got ready for my day. Pete shared with me that he'd had a prayer burden for me all night, and that he feels as though I'm very exposed today. I agreed. I feel physically weaker than I have in months--and it's nearly the anniversary of last year's hospital stay. Something is wrong... but I don't think it's physical.

I don't know what to do, or how to figure it out, so I'm quiet today...

The only thing that comes to mind to pray is "Alleluia..."
