Ok, I Know I'm Weird, But Wow

Tuesday, February 21, 2006

I've had bad hairdays. I've had bad days. This morning, however, is completely messing with my reality.

My husband's school is suggesting that his *subjective* answers will be exactly what their model answers are if he is a good Christian attorney.

His school is weird.

I had Pete's keys in MY purse this morning. My keys were on His desk.

Our habits are weird.

I got an email from a friend in England this morning who suggested that I stop analyzing the "why" behind what I am feeling. The point, she said, is "what" I am feeling.

My brain is weird.

I got a forward from my great-aunt about "Geritol Gypsies" who were having their first patio sale that was ACTUALLY an update on her niece who has cancer.

My family is weird.

Our insurance agency called to tell me that a car I hit last week was filing a claim against me because *she* was trying to STOP in the LEFT LANE on Rt. 7 in the SNOW and ICE, going DOWNHILL and didn't have a clue how to drive in that weather.

My car is awesome, but insurance is weird.

I had four messages on my phone this morning from an older woman trying to locate a "Candy" in regard to HER husband of 50 years. "We really need to talk!"

My life is weird.

The author is now accepting any and all notes of sympathy from her readers.

Consider sympathy, any and all I have, yours forever and always (really really). Also, remember that your husband is considering getting your a dinglehopper for your birthday.

Your husband is weird.

Friendy - you've really been through it! Sounds like you need a hug and a prayer. :-/

I have you to thank for this song that has been a deep encouragement to my soul over the last 24 hours or so, and I feel it appropriate to give it back to you, as it were...

"...you are timeless and part of a puzzle
And you are winsome and young as a lad
And there is no disease or no struggle
That can pull you from God, be ye glad!

Oh be ye glad, oh, be ye glad
Every debt that you ever had
Has been paid up in full by the grace of the Lord
Be ye glad, be ye glad, be ye glad!"

Love you!!!

I love that song, Leeann! It's been a favorite of mine since I heard it. :-) What is a "dinglehopper", Anonymous? (or do I not want to know...)

There was once a performance where you and a friend came up with something at the last minute. The other performers (girls esp.) were very surprised and the audience was entertained. The friend had a ton of fun. :-P

Your friends are weird.

Dinglehopper: Scuttle the Seagull's definition of a "fork"

Have you never watched "The Little Mermaid"?

Sounds normal to me, which is a further indication that:

Your friends are weird.

Revel in it--normal people are boring.

I think I did but it was a long, long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away...) :-D
