One of the most surprising things to me is Piper's sudden bursts of affection. Sometimes, just an hour after she's been cranky and "I want my way"-ing, she just randomly throws her arms around me and snuggles in for this amazing, full-body hug.This morning, when I got her up from her nap, she clung to me like she'd never let go, grinning at us in the mirror over my shoulder. She had everything she wanted in the world!
As exhausting as it is being the center of her world, once in a while, I find out how rewarding it can be.
