Christmas on King Street - A Secret Garden

Thursday, December 18, 2008

Early in our King Street walk, Pete guided us to a Unitarian cemetery hidden from the bustle and busy of King Street. The peaceful location gave me time to pull out my macro and capture a few December-blooming after-frost inhabitants.

Those are beautiful, especially since our Christmas is a little lax on color right now - well, at least in MY yard! Thanks for sharing - a bright spot in my day today!

These are absolutely beautiful. Have you ever considered entering them in the county fair? Or getting them made into greeting cards and selling them? Or a calendar? They're beautiful! Thanks for sharing. :)

Wow, Sarah - I had thought about a calendar recently, but the idea had slipped my mind since. I have been contemplating the card/design thing, though. Think there would be a market?

I think so. Especially if you have some kind of store in your area that sells gift type stuff, like Pvill Marketplace does. Especially if you do some cards with Charleston themes, tourists and locals love that stuff. I love getting beautiful DC cars to send out notes to friends.
