writer's block

It’s all I have to bring today –
This, and my heart beside –
This, and my heart, and all the fields –
And all the meadows wide –
Be sure you count – should I forget
Some one the sum could tell –
This, and my heart, and all the Bees
Which in the Clover dwell.

~Emily Dickinson

It's Tuesday, and it's been a bear of a week already. I'll write again when the fog clears and I have something to say. I always do. Happy spring - a little late!

Oh, and I should note, I totally stole this poem/minimal post idea from Amber.

This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. How in the world did you get that pearl necklace flare?!

Everything you do is beautiful when you put it on your blog. Dickinson never looked so good.

The flare is actually the sunlight coming in the window; the necklace bokeh is a dangling set of my daughter's beads that I dropped down behind the baby's breath into the light. I think I would have liked the shot without the beads, but it's got so many cool elements, I had to keep it!
