For My Reference (and yours, if you like!)

A to-do list of December-related posts I've been meaning to write, or am planning to get to in the next few weeks or have written already that you may have missed. I need to write it out, or I will forget my brain things while I'm being so greedy living the memories I've got at my fingertips...
*Crazy Christmas
*Christmas Photos Set the First
*Christmas Photos Set the Second
*Christmas Photos Set the Third
*Christmas Sunset (at my photography blog)

*Transition (A post about Bredon's birth)
*A poem about sun on snow and the light in Virginia

*Quotes from Annie Dillard's Teaching a Stone to Talk (which I finally finished after stopping three pages from end when my water broke...)

*Thoughts for the New Year (as soon as I get around to thinking them)
*Pondering with Mary (because I know she must have pondered past Christmas)
*The Redemption of Eve
*My Christmas Meditations on the Incarnation (very real this year)

*Crossing my fingers for a funny piano video my brother shot of Pip and her cousin

*I also have a couple of upcoming guest posts in other places too!
I'm seriously needing some non-frenetic time to put words to this stuff ramming around in my head. On that note, I'll be waking baby to cuddle now...

Kelly,

Lovely pictures from your Virginia visit, although the amount of snow on the ground tells me you weren't in Arlington, where we got two feet.

Baby Bredon is a beautiful boy. I'll look forward to seeing more photos and your posts about the transition.

Your other intended posts also look very promising as reads, given how beautifully you write. I'll look forward to those, too, whenever they come.

May the New Year be a joy-filled, prosperous, and peaceful time for you and yours.

That photo makes my ovaries hurt. Really. :)
I keep hearing about Annie Dillard here, and keep remembering I need to start reading her. Thank you.

Yay - love the sweet picture & looking forward to the transition - birth post! :) I'm going to post about my labor on my blog, but let me just say that you are a rock star for having your little one at home - I was begging for an epidural by 5 cm!!! :)

There are few pictures more perfect than that one.
