A Little Spring, On Me

Saturday, February 6, 2010

I've been here at my computer most of the day. With Tweetdeck up and running.

And ya'll are COLD.

I've been working in black and white at my blog, touching up my template.

It's black and white and raining outside too.

And I'm cold.

So have a little spring, on me.

Love the blog, "tweeking" looks great. And oh the smell and warmth of spring...it'll be here soon. Which is hard to imagine after shoveling 30 inches of snow.

Beautiful photo! I'm cold, but I have no right to be - cold to this southern California native is under 60 degrees. We were in slightly chillier northern California last weekend and I said, "This must be what winter is like!" Which made my Canadian husband snort with laughter.

All that to say, I'm ready for soft, sunlit mornings and the green of spring!

I wish I could send you some of our sharp, sizzling heat! Exchange it for just a little of that cold, which we sure would appreciate.

It's late but I'm catching up with blogs after a day of writing. To see that gorgeous spring flower is wonderful. We can no longer see our cars. We have a tunnel from the front door to the walk. Beyond that a mountain of white that rose higher throughout the day. Nothing moves.

Thank you for sunshine, the blooms, the hint of things to come. It's a great gift for a summer girl enduring the snow.

I recently found your blog and while I usually resort to hiding behind my daughter's nickelodeon laptop, I thought it was quite funny I wrote about spring in winter on my blog. haha! guess we are all desiring a bit of sunshine these days!

have really enjoyed your stories and your heart!

kelly. I'm fairly new to your blog, but I really like it. I have a question for you. How are you posting your pics? I have a filter on my computer and it's blocking them. I just need to add the site as safe (the photo site) and I should be able to see them I think.

I'm missing out! Thanks!
