Oh Halp...

All this while I was changing B's diaper just now. She was in the same room. My back was turned.

Now I'm just staring.

I don't quite believe she did it.

What do ya do? I mean, really?

I so need back-up today...

What do you do? Exactly what you did - take pictures! :-P

And laugh. And have her help clean up. She's exploring her world - it's a good thing.

And a messy thing.

:-P

Yesterday I was considering hiring another Mother. Some days it feels like someone else would be better equipped at raising my children. And then I remember gratitude in the messes. In the dirty diapers. In the dry playdoh. In the broken toe :)

Only a dad would ask: What did she do wrong?

Oh, I am trying hard not to giggle. See this link: http://memoriaarts.com/2009/01/21/a-foreboding-quiet/

She is so cute...it almost makes up for the mess. Almost. I say, have a bit of fun with it, and then clean it up. I often feel like if I didn't laugh in the messes, I'd surely cry, so I'd rather my kids remember me laughing!

:) Love ya girl. You know we're rooting for you and praying for heavenly back up!

rule # 1 - never turn your back :-)

Looks familiar! And sadly, I don't have to turn my back! They happen in front of my eyes! :)

It's an interesting look. A little Geisha maybe but interesting.

She will laugh at this when she is older. And, you will too!

That's all I've got. That and a crooked grin.

What do you do?
You thank your lucky stars it wasn't a combination of aquaphor, vicks baby rub and bubble bath, that's what you do. :-) Powder is much preferred over greasy gel & liquid! :-)
Oh, and you take pictures. Because seriously, this is where it gets blogworthy!
Hang in there, Mama!

I was a little worried when I read the clip on my blogreader that Piper had cut her hair! So this isn't soooo bad!

Haha...what a sweetie...she looks good in white. Kinda like a China Doll. ;)

Oh, I think I'd much rather deal with this...as opposed to raw egg. You've no idea exactly how much of a room can be coated with slimy egg gunk :-)

Lol... one of those moments where you can either freak out and lose your temper, or just laugh it off. Judging by the fact that you had the presence of mind to capture it on camera, looks like you chose the latter. Good work. :-)

I remember those days! Sometimes you just have to laugh -- and grab the camera.
She's a darling!

Never turn your back! Ha! :)
(lovely job capturing it though!)

WOw... part of me wants to laugh, because these are great pictures. It's almost like she's getting ready to Mime. :) Then the other part of me is like AAAAHHHHH!!! You've got enough calmness of nature to stop and take pictures, which isn't always first on my mind. It's tough finding a balance (for me at least) between remaining calm and handling each situation differently -- did she do wrong, as in something she's been told not to? OR is this a first offense and just her curiosity that needs to be re-guided. I need to learn to take a step back if nothing more than to give myself a chance to figure which it is. Perhaps stopping to take the picture does that?

Today has been that kind of day for me. I saw these pictures when you first posted them, and felt for you. Today I see them and feel for me too. :) Sometimes misery likes a little company...so know you're not alone and I'm thinking of you and praying for you today as you're in the midst of uprooting and planting your family in a new home.

I'm impressed you got to your camera that quickly!

Hope the rest of the moving goes well!
